Central Valley Conference Commissioner Kulwant Singh has announced the hiring of Omar Musleh as the conference's new women's basketball assignor. In this role, Musleh will serve as the coordinator of officials for the CVC in women's basketball.
Musleh comes to the CVC after serving as the supervisor of officials for the San Joaquin Valley Officials Association (SJVOA) since 2021. Musleh is also a dedicated and experienced official. He has officiated contests at the NCAA Division II level for the PacWest Conference, as well as at 3C2A level for the CVC and Western State Conference.
"I am delighted to serve as the women's basketball assignor for the Central Valley Conference," said Musleh. "I come to the CVC with a strong foundation in officiating and a passion for maintaining the integrity of the game. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a commitment to excellence, fairness, and the continuous development of officiating standards.
"My goal is to support and develop a high-performing officiating team that upholds the spirit of the game while ensuring a safe and competitive environment for all participants."
Muslef is also currently employed as a physical education specialist for the Weaver Union School District in Merced. He received his BA degree in kinesiology from California State University, Stanislaus in 2015 and earned a master's degree in educational leadership from the university in 2017.
